Stamp Connection Guest Designer

Hallo! Today's a really big treat for me because I was asked to participate in a little feature called "Stamp Connection". Bet you can't imagine how honored I am. This time Cornelia of fun-stamping chose the theme, "Get inspired by somebody's blog header".  Since I've never been involved in anything like this before, I was really nervous about the blog I chose. Initially, I wanted to use Cornelia's but, after some reconsideration (tearing my hair out), picked someone else's.
If you follow me, you  know I'm a pastel kind of gal with an affinity for CAS and diecuts. Lucy's Cards became the obvious choice for me. Her blog header is exactly what I love. Lot's of white with soft, ethereal color. So this is what happened:

Applied grey and pink inks in a gradient to a Simon Says diecut sentiment and Clearly Besotted feather and sentiment strip. Stacked the focal sentiment four times. Adhered all onto a vellum panel to emulate that ethereal quality. Attached the vellum panel to the back of a standard A2 white card base so it floated free from the front of it.

Now, you ought to go and check out Cornelia's and Tanja's creations. They're fabulous!

Want to thank Cornelia and Tanja, again,  for including me in this fun, creative endeavor. It was such a hoot. Hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. Auf Wiedersehen!
