Snails and Cozy Christmas.

Hi there! Had to play along with both these two challenges...first because of the scrumptious colors and second because we're CASEing the delightfully talented and generously supportive blog buddy, Cornelia, of "fun-stamping".
February Pin-Sights Color Trend Tech-nique
Who could resist this inspiration for the PanTone Pin-Sights challenge...not me!
Used an Essentials by Ellen stamp set and masking for this almost-one-layer card. Colored the images up with Tombow and  shimmery Spectrum Noir markers. Hope it makes those flu sufferers smile a bit.
The genius that is Cornelia made this card for Muse Christmas Visions originally but you definitely need to visit the website to see her reminder card, which is equally as awesome:
It took me a long time to come up with a decent idea and actually execute it (after no less than 4 attempts)...you'll be surprised when you see it. I am incredible slow, but in the end this is my vision:
And now that I see the end result in a photo, I realize it is crooked. NUTS!.  Still, I think 4 tries are enough...hopefully it isn't too noticeable. Lots of masking on this one, too (I must be obsessed). Another Essentials by Ellen stamp set and many Altenew inks.
I strongly recommend checking out Cornelia's blog. It will lift your spirits and her work is always inspirational for normal cardmakers...except for slow, unimaginative folks like me.
Bye for now!

  3. Hahaha ... what a great sentiment with that delicious escargot, Coni ... isn't he so stylish with his swirly shell (mimicking the macarons!), set amid those lovely florals! Brilliant, vibrant and whimsical take on Cornelia's muse for MCV ... do I see crooked ... nope, just yummy rainbow colour and lots of fun! Got my vote! Hugs, Anita :)
