Thud & Birds

Back again with some challenge entries and, for once, I'm not late.

If you follow CASology you know that the cue word is "Swoon". Well, lo and behold, that is exactly what's happened to this Honey Bee bunny. ..altered just a bit to close it's eyes. Thanks to Amy Tsuruta for the handwritten sentiment. Trimmed out his lower half to overlap wood grained washi adhered to the interior of the card base...he had to lie on something, right? Actually, rather than fainting, this guy looks like he's having a little nap...wish I could join him.

Can't seem to get away from critters this week. This card is for Muse Christmas Visions where we're inspired by Chriss' charming card, shown below. Though I used and entirely different color combo, I was inspired by the sweet bird and those wreaths. Memory Box wreath is a snippet from a different project which I colored with the same alcohol inks as I did the birds. Speaking of the birds, they're from Whipper Snapper Stamps masked to fit into the oval wreath. Sentiment is a custom blend of Penny Black and STAMPlorations.
