Thinking of You One Layer Cards are the theme for Less is More. Using a rainbow of colors I stamped Altenew's spattered circle repeatedly. Lack of texture is my bugaboo for OLC's, so I then used a die to dry emboss Thinking of You all over the card base. Finally, stamped the tiny sentiment from Penny Black.
Gupta is the designer at Muse Card Club with a gorgeous card (shown below) which I used to partially CASE the layout. Gold embossed a background die on an angle and added glittery and black strips above it. Diecut the Penny Black sentiment with the same glittery card stock and adhered that above the angle. Stamped and diecut a layered flower, bud and leaf from Altenew. Then, I screwed the whole thing up with black spatter...unfortunately, one spatter looked like a giant black hole. Ugh! No worries, I said to myself...and stuck the diecuts partially over the splotch. Too late to redo it so there it is.

Hope you've had a terrific weekend. It's 102 here so...you know...hot!

ReplyDeleteVery pretty take on muse conil. Love both of your cards 💕😍😘
ReplyDeleteWhat an interesting and artsy OLC, Conil. You definitely got the texture aspect covered. It also covered up all that lovely white space we love seeing on CAS cards. Thank you for sharing with us at Less is More. x
ReplyDeleteCool, artsy look for your one layer card, Coni ... and such a lovely floral with the gorgeous gold embossing ... great job on recovering the black splat!! Hugs, Anita :)
ReplyDeleteYou really have produced a colourful and artsy card in your one layer Coni. I agree with Trina that the white space has been covered by all the amazing texture you managed to add (and that's never an easy thing to do). Thanks for letting us see this at Less is More xx
