Baseball, Flowers and Mermaids

Hello. Photo heavy post so grab a cuppa and join me, please.
I think my mojo may be returning. No guarantees, but....
This is the card that got a few of my juices flowing. Little known fact: I LOVE baseball. So when CASology came up with the cue word "Sports" my mind fairly flew to it. PTI provided it all except the dry embossed circle.
This "bright", "One-Layer" card was inspired by Tracey McNeely's lovely red florals (shown below) at Muse Card Club. The joy of it is that it dovetails nicely with Time Out's and The Flower Challenge's current challenges. Masked three of Altenew's layered flowers and some leaves. Then added their sentiment to run off the side and the skinny stripes along the top for balance. Hope you like it.
My "just because I could" card has an alcohol background and a new (to me) EBE mermaid stamp that is a pure delight. I'll be adding this to Ellen Hutson's August challenge. Unfortunately, the poor camera and lousy photographer really didn't capture the sparkle, shimmer and shine so here is a close up.

If you've made it this far, thank you for sticking it out. It's greatly appreciated. Hope your weekend was wonderful. Bye!

  1. Wonderful trio of cards. Love them all. The embossed circle is a wonderful way to add to your baseball card, your flower card is so bold, bright, and beautiful, and your mermaid sea card is delightful. Thanks so much for playing along at CASology and Time Out.

  2. Conil I love your cards, all three of them but my favourite is the one you have entered at The flower Challenge. I don't think I have seen this flower stamped so beautifully before, so rich in colour and the little flowers behind. Just perfect Thank you so much for joining us at The Flower Challenge and we hope to see you there again soon. Aileen DesignTeam

  3. Your crisp, CAS, clever baseball is so cool, Coni ... and what a magical, shimmery mermaid ... that alcohol ink background is brilliant, such a great sense of wavy movement in it! Delicious, vibrant, saturated blooms ... so bold and striking! You sure have got your mojo back ... though I'm not too sure it ever really left you! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Time Out! Hugs, Anita :)
