Fall Florals

Hello again. Just one card to share today for Altenew's Inspiration challenge.
Just had to play because my friend Virginia (Yes, Virginia) is hosting and the inspiration colors were yelling at me. Used a alcohol inked background to showcase this gorgeous stamp set's beautiful blooms. After coloring with pencils, thought it needed some pizzazz, so added a touch of copper Stickles and a little vellum. That meant it also qualifies for The Flower Challenge.

    Just beautiful, Coni ... the glow of the background lights up those wonderfully coloured blooms brilliantly ... the glimmer from the stickles is perfect! Am catching up (not at home at the moment, though I think you now know that!) and have enjoyed meandering through all your recent cards ... the rainbow stencilling behind the hugs is especially delicious!     You've blown my mind with this one Coni!! I'm so struggling with these colours but you've opened my mind up to all sorts of possibilities with the ways you used them. Your background is incredible (I still haven't tried alcohol inks yet, they scare me a bit....) and the colour of your flowers is divine. I might just have to buckle down and try this out but at this stage I'm thinking that this is a sure fire winner. And I'm so glad you shared it too with us at The Flower Challenge!!
