Time Out's Inspired by Words this time is,

I am always grateful & happywhen I see my sweet daughter. She loves dragon flies and the color green so the die from STAMPlorations seemed to fit the bill to cover this watercolored background. Happily, STAMPlorations is also sponsoring this challenge. The sentiment is from Altenew and the jewels from Studio Katia.
This time for Muse's Card Club we're CASEing Lyn's fun & clever card (shown below). I wanted to keep the color scheme so a blended Distress Oxide panel over a white embossed background seemed OK. My challenge was to find pumpkins somewhere in my enormous stash. Oddly enough, these Winnie & Walter stamps were all I had. Stamped, fussy cut and mounted them with foam tape on an embossed vellum strip with a Hero Arts sentiment.

That's all for now. Hopefully, I'll be back sooner than later. Bye.
Two beauties, Coni! I'm glad you found those punkins which look great against your perfect blended background! I especially love the card for your daughter in those gorgeous colors and awesome dragonfly cover plate!! ❤Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteLove the dragonfly diecut and background colors and sentiment! Glad you found pumpkins in your stash! Your textured background and distress ink colors really capture the inspiration card.
ReplyDeleteFabulous background for your pumpkins! Thanks so much for joining us at Muse this week!
ReplyDeleteTwo beautiful cards ! Love the delicate cover plate over the green background. Very eye-catching second card with this beautiful purple blended background. The delicious pumpkins pop up gorgeously. Thanks for inspiring.
ReplyDeleteOh how I love the dreamy, flowing feel of that blue/green beauty.
ReplyDeleteI love how your orange pumpkins pop against the purple of the background - a really wonderful CASE! The background of your first card is really pretty too - and works perfectly with that fun cover plate die cut. Thanks so much for playing along with us at Time Out! Jill
ReplyDeleteLuscious, rich sponged background for your cute, bright pumpkins, Coni ... congratulations on your top spot at Muse with this delight! Adore those soft greens and blues under the drifting dragonfly die cut ... there's such a wonderful sense of movement about it ... and what a special sentiment (it's first time I've seen that one)! Delighted to have you playing along with us at Time Out ... and it's great to see you in blogland too! Hugs, Anita :)
ReplyDeleteHad no idea I got the Muse top spot...I've been so derelict in my blogland duties. Thanks for the heads up and, as always, your sweet wonderful and encouraging comments.
