Flutterbys

Am I the only kid who grew up saying flutterbys rather than butterflies or, like so many other things, was that a quirk in my Mother's teachings? We'll never know. Anyway, I love all butterflies but the blue ones with the iridescent wings seem to fascinate me the most. Sadly, we don't have any in my neck of the woods, so when CAS Watercolor came up with a butterfly challenge, I was in like flint. Watercolored these Penny Black critters with  Sapphire Avery Elle and teal Art Spray. Added a Colorado Craft sentiment and a silver Altenew frame I'd not used on a previous project. Shimmered with Ink On 3's Pixie Dust. Done!

  1. We call them flutterbys in our home too. I think your card is stunning and love how you've 'cut' some of the butterflies in your wonderful design. So very striking and I love it! x

Are you as surprised as I am that I don't own every single butterfly stamp ever created? This one has flown right by me!! Gorgeous design, fantastic execution!
