You're Beautiful, Dah-ling
I'm a huge fan of Art Deco....Erte designs make my heart go pitty-pat...so when Time Out chose "Fashionable" as a theme my brain went straight to these very old NBUS ladies. I used Concord & 9th's striped turnabout, stamping in VersaMark and embossing in black and metallic powder to achieve the background. Stamped, then fussy-cut and embellished the ladies. Diecut an Altenew frame in glossy black cardstock and applied it to gold vellum. Stamped and embossed the Altenew sentiment. Attached the framed sentiment and ladies centered to the background. Mounted it on a black cardbase.

Looks easy enough, but that took a LOT of meticulous work and your rocked it, Coni! All those stripes, etc., embossed in different powders, WOW! You should get some kind of award from the whole card-making community for this spectacular glossy vintage delight!! Hugs, Darnell

You captured the elegance and glamour of a 1930's ballroom (and guests) beautifully, Coni ... the richness of the metallics is fabulous with the black ... that gold vellum positively glows! So pleased to have you playing along with us at Time Out! Hugs, Anita :)
