Twofer Card Challenge wants Spring Animals...aren't they all? Anyway, bunnys came to mind instantly...mine are from an older Art Impressions set which appears to be discontinued. Stamped a bunch of the bunnys front and back, Copic colored them and fussy cut them out.
Used a Mama Elephant die to make a gatefold (literally) card. Created the background with an MFT cloud stencil and a Kitchen Sink layering set for the rolling hills. Added some additonal grass with MFT's stencil and a few flowers with some paste and white gel pen. Attached the bunnys, front and back to the top of the gate (do bunnys climb...oh well, the whole card is a fantasy). Stamped the sentiment, cut it into a strip and laced it through the fence stiles to keep the card closed.
Stamped, white heat embossed and watercolored the Simon Says Easter Egg background stamp. While it dried, diecut 3 white and 1 black Simon Says "happy" and "Easter" words. Stacked them with the black, offset on the bottom. Fussy cut the, now dried, background and attached it to a dark grey cardbase. (What would I ever do without grey.) Cut a slit in the background with a craft knife to accommodate a bunny head and arranged the rest of them and the sentiment on the card. Done.

Oh my gosh Conil...I am in in total LOVE with both of your cards! I don't know if bunnies climb either, but they sure are ADORABLE peeking over the top of that fence and even cuter yet from behind when you open the gate!! And your 2nd card with the bunnies climbing all over the Easter eggs is FABULOUS...all that coloring and it's just so colorful and fun! You really nailed this months challenge!! Thanks so much for sharing these 2 delightful cards with us at The Twofer Challenge this month!! :0)
ReplyDeleteI want to hop through this gorgeous field of green with your cotton-tailed friends, Coni! Look - they're even holding the gate open for us! SO clever, and loads of cute!

ReplyDeleteYour literal gate fold card is adorable with those energetic, leaping bunnies ... cute and so fun! All the vibrant colour on the Easter eggs is brilliant ... love how the bunnies are frolicking among them! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Twofer! Hugs, Anita :)
ReplyDeleteNow isn't that adorable - those bunnies scrambling up the fence! I hope they make it safely down the other side! But they probably did - I already see some of them hiding between those gorgeously colorful Easter eggs.
ReplyDeleteThank you, kindly. Bunnies are always cute.
DeleteI wish there were challenges out there calling for CUTE, because you would win hands down, Coni! Seriously, you think the little bunny fronts are cute, but that's nothing compared to their little bunny butts! I think it was brilliant to have them hop up on the fence gate to welcome home Hunny Bunny! Your background sky and grassy flowery hills is A++! And you've made an Easter poster card with frolicking Easter bunnies among your sweet pile of pretty decorated eggs! Thank you so much for playing in Twofer Card Challenge #25! Take care!! 😷 Hugs, Darnell
