Spring Florals

Here in Northern California, Spring is busting out all over...big time. Right now, I'm trying out a rain dance to keep us out of drought. That said, I decided to make a Spring-y birthday card for AAA Birthday and The Flower Challenges.
I used The Stamp Market's floral diecut and colored the centers/petals lightly with Copics. Colored a white panel with Copics in the same colors as the flower centers. Used an older Pretty Pink Posh ribbon/bow and STAMPlorations sentiment dies to cut it out.  Also diecut the sentiment out 2 more times out of white cardstock and stacked them behind the colored sentiment. Assembled the ribbon, bow and sentiment over the diecut flowers. Used a Tim Holtz embossing folder on a green cardstock cardbase. Attached the floral/sentiment arrangement with foam tape, added some Nuvo Jewel drops and called this one done.

Skyline

CASology is looking for a skyline and I have the perfect NBUS stencil for that. Unfortunately, it is not label but if you know who makes it, give me a shout out. Applied several different grey tones through the stencil, then created a sunset background with yellows....set aside to dry. Diecut a circle from an A2 cardbase and, once dry, inserted the background panel inside the card. Diecut a Memory Box thin frame and attached it over the aperture. Stamped an Altenew sentiment and heat embossed it twice to make it beefier.
Revision: I've been advised that this is a an MFT stencil. So, there you go.

Big Bear and Bee

Less Is More Lucky Dip is "Big and Small" this fortnight...thought these Sugar Pea images fit the bill rather well. Stamped the images and sentiment and colored with Copics. Added some Nuvo Glaze and gel pen highlights and called the card done.

Music to My Ears

Today I'm playing with Time Out's current challenge.  The ispiration photo (shown below) is full of color and so much fun. Using a Hero Arts cover die, I cut a white panel. Then stamped this old phonograph image and colored with Copics. Stamped and adhered a Honey Bee sentiment after cutting around it...the inside sentiment is "Music Speaks".  Added some metallic washi to the white panel and  attached the phonograph. Used foam tape to attach it to a blue cardbase.

Red for Christmas

Hi there! Sorry to be missing in action for so long but this house is currently an infirmary with 2 very sick folks just trying to get by. We're better now and some of my mojo is trickling back on.
Anyway, I'm a bit late to the party at Christmas Kickstart with this little scene card. Red being the operative cue, stamped using EBE and Wplus9 images. All colored with Copics with a touch of glittery snow. Framed with a Penny Black red frame and called it done. Phew...I'm exhausted. Bye die now.

Pastel Anemones

AAA Cards challenge is one corner with the option of older supplies. Doesn't get any older than rub-ons (do you remember those?) in my stash. These Wordsworth rub-ons are from my old scrapbooking days. Sadly, I don't think they're still available or if the company's even in business anymore. Applied them to an A2 topfolding card and gently colored them with Copics. Added Copic shading around the images. The sentiment is from an older Simon Says mini-set.
