AAA Card's Birthday

Guess what! It's AAA Cards 6th birthday.

This is the card I made to help them celebrate:

Used 2 colors of Nuvo Glacier Paste on a white panel for a dotted Altenew stenciled background and set it aside to dry. Diecut an Avery Elle die 4 times and stacked them. On a separate diecut, stamped and embossed the coordinating stamp with glittery WOW! powder and added it to the top of the stack. Lightly shaded the resulting image with Copics. Mounted the stack over the dotted background.

Love playing with AAA Cards and so happy that they're on their 6th year of fun. Happy Birthday!

Flashy Dots

Happy Memorial Day to all our heroes and my blog friends. Today I'm playing with Less Is More's one layer "Going Dotty" challenge. Gradient stamped Uniko's stamp then added gold Nuvo Glacier Paste dots on the panel, set aside to dry.  The sentiment is Altenew's stamped with Staz-On.

Coffee Lovers Unite

 

It's that time again to celebrate 2020 Spring/Summer Coffee Lovers and there is a huge bloghop with tons of sponsors and prizes. So I made this card:

The card combines lots of different company's products and techniques. It's for those of us who love iced coffee. Using a very old, unlabeled stencil I inked three different colors to create depth. On a small panel, stamped and watercolored a STAMPloration's coffee image, set aside to dry. Diecut Simon Says "sunshine" from wood cardstock and matted with black. Diecut some EBE flowers from vellum and colored cardstock. Arranged all the elements on a cardbase with foam tape and added some neglected enamel dots in the flower centers. Added a tiny subsentiment strip. Done.

The Lake

Sunrise on a moonlit lake to play with AAA Birthday's "Things with Wings" challenge. Partially diecut an older Wplus9 crane out of a white panel, then a circle leaving the bird in tact. Stamped the image and the post and set aside. Watercolored a circle on a separate panel after masking the "moon" and set it aside to dry. Once dry stamped/embossed an Altenew sentiment and foam mounted the bird panel over the watercolored piece. A masculine birthday card for my stash.

Plant Kindness

Time for a funky carrot card to improve our eyesight for CASology's "Plant" challenge. Ink blended a white panel and set aside to dry. Once dry, stamped the Altenew's fancy carrots in several colors. Spattered brown ink on the panel and stamped/embossed the sentiment. Cut the panel with a STAMPlorations die and adhered with foam tape to a cardbase. Linking to The Male Room-"In the Garden", as well.
  

Good Friends

Playing with CAS Watercolor "Night Sky" today. Using watercolor cardstock, created a galaxy background spattering it liberally with gouache and Perfect Pearls for stars, set aside to dry. Then stamped and embossed this  Lesia Zgharda sentiment on acetate. Cut an aperture on a cardbase to accomodate the sentiment. Attached the acetate sentiment to the inside of the aperture, Adhered the galaxy watercolored panel to the inside of the card. For interest, Copic colored and fussy cut a stamped Lawn Fawn bunny to the card front.

Just Dance

It's dress rehearsal time for the Swamp Corps de Ballet and the participants are working really hard to turn in a spectacular perfomance.

Practicing their jetes, while maintaining social distance, is hard but they're managing to do it.
Day of the Month Card Club wants cards for Leaping Frogs Day...this Hero Arts image is the only leaping frog that I seem to have. Colored them with pencils and masked them to stamp an Ink Blot Shop stage to dance on.  Sloppily ink blended the background and colored the stage. Devised the sentiment from an anonymous quote on the internet. Done.
